On the 11th of February Mapping Day UG re-visited the Mukono University (UCU) to reflect on the edits that had been made during the first mapping day of the 10th September 2011.
This first mapping day was all about introducing how to map using GPS devices, walking papers and OpenStreetMap. The students attending mapped their campus and updated their traces in the weeks after.
The reflection day on the the 11th focused on updating and correcting more features within and around the university so that U.C.U is clearly represented on the open street map. While the students stayed within the walls of the university the first time, you can now obviously see they broke out of the campus to map Mukono.
