Roads & Trenches

  1. Map all roads / paths you walk on as either:
    residential
    Roads accessing or around residential areas
    path
    A shared-use path (not for cars)
  2. For all roads marked as residential you should also indicate the surface of the road as one of the following:
    asphalt (tarmac)
    concrete
    gravel (murram)
    dirt
  3. Mark all speed bumps as one of:
    bump
    Short bump, usually less than 30 cm in length
    hump
    Longer bump, but in general not long enough for whole vehicle
    rumble_strip
    Several humps with spaces between them
  4. Mark all trenches along the roads and note all culverts.
